FAQ
Yacht charter FAQ
How much does a yacht charter in Phuket cost?
Prices depend on boat size, route and season. In our brochure, sailing catamarans start at $479, speedboats at $569 and private motor yachts at $1,197 per charter (whole boat), including captain, crew, insurance and 7% VAT.
What is included in a yacht charter?
Most charters include captain and crew, fuel, snorkelling gear, paddle boards, drinking water, fruit, towels, insurance and 7% VAT. National-park fees, island landing fees and transfers vary by boat — each boat page lists exactly what is and isn’t included.
When is the best time for a yacht charter in Phuket?
High season (November–April) brings calm, clear Andaman seas — ideal for Phi Phi and Racha. Low season (May–October) offers better rates and most days are still sailable on sheltered routes such as Phang Nga Bay.
How many guests can join a yacht charter?
From 2 guests on a small private boat up to 145 on our largest catamaran. Use Smart Match or the guest filter on the fleet page to find the right size.
How far ahead should I book, and can I cancel?
In high season book 1–2 weeks ahead (1–2 months for New Year). A 50% deposit confirms the boat. Cancellations under 48 h are charged 30%, under 24 h 50%, and under 12 h or no-show 100%.
Which marinas do charters depart from?
Our boats depart from Royal Phuket Marina, Ao Po Grand Marina, Chalong Pier, Boat Lagoon, ONE°15 Marina and Coco Pier (Panwa) in Phuket — each boat page names its marina.

Phi Phi Islands private boat charter

Highlights
Highlights
- 01
Pileh Lagoon
an emerald lagoon enclosed by cliffs — great for swimming and kayaking
- 02
Maya Bay
the most famous bay; the national park limits visitor numbers, does not allow swimming and closes it for recovery for part of each year
- 03
Viking Cave
viewed from the boat — home to swiftlet nests
- 04
Bamboo Island
white sand and shallow water, ideal for snorkelling and relaxing
Tips from our team
- Leave early (before 9am) to reach the best bays before the big tour boats
- National park fees are paid per person at cost — we confirm the total before you book
- In the monsoon (May–Oct) seas can be rough; we will suggest a safer alternative route if needed
- Check the national park’s Maya Bay opening notice before your trip date
FAQ
Is a Phi Phi charter a full day?
Usually yes — 7–8 hours. A fast speedboat gives you time for more stops.
Can I swim at Maya Bay?
No. The national park only allows viewing from the beach and boardwalk, but you can swim at Pileh Lagoon and Bamboo Island.
Can I go to Phi Phi in the rainy season?
Yes on good-weather days, but sea conditions are checked daily. We will suggest another route if it is not safe.
